I'm so tired of Gas

I've just spent a half hour reading about the Smart Car. I think they are so cute. Isn't that a good enough reason to buy it? Being that size it should get 60 mpg. It has an 8.7 gallon tank, gets about 40 mpg. My Altima was $35.00 to fill up, now I am putting $67.00 in the tank. How come when the price was going up, crude oil would go up $2.00 and our gas would go up 6 to 10 cents per gallon. Now crude oil is down approx $15.00 per barrel and I have not seen a change at all! Whats up with that? Who's making all the money? Oil companies? the Middle East? Columbia? Hey aren't they the ones that hate us? I just don't understand. I think we need to provide for ourselves, maybe we should stand up to the environmentalists and drill where we know there is Oil. Start today coming up with alternative energy, renewable energy and stop funding those people that hate us. And for me, it would do me good to get out on a bicycle. How would that look! An older woman riding a bicycle in a dress to work! Not! Hey this is a first, I have never referred to myself as an older woman!
